Anderson Cancer Center is to eliminate cancer in Texas, the nation, and the world through outstanding programs that integrate patient care, research, and prevention, and through education for undergraduate and graduate students, trainees, professionals, employees, and the public.SUMMARYReporting to the Manager, Clinical Space Activation and Transition, the primary purpose of this position is to provide coordination activities as they relate to; activation planning activities that support both capital and non-capital projects, equipment planning coordination and roll out in clinical spaces. This position will also facilitate the deactivation of existing spaces and move management partnership with facilities. Activation and deactivation efforts include:Coordination with project teamFacilitation of Medical equipment installation and supportEquipment planning coordinationMove management procurementVendor installation coordinationCoordinating inventory managementScheduling and move coordinationTransitioning space after construction to operationsBudgeting and contract managementSite decommissioningRelated project communicationsJOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIESMedical Equipment/FFE PlanningWork alongside Equipment Planning services either directly with MEQ firm or through A/E for projects. Liaison for overall process for the procurement and installation of equipment, including documenting inventories, review of floor plans, supporting requisition packages. Facilitates and maintains schedule review of specifications, drawings, submittals, and milestones. Liaison between client departments, consultants, regulatory agencies, clinical engineering, and other stakeholders. Coordinate with IT, Clinical Engineering, and asset management on the commissioning and decommissioning of equipment.Move Coordination/Activation/DeactivationFacilitates coordination with project team and is primary liaison to clinical partners to communicate of all move coordination and site deactivation strategies and plans. Where needed, provides oversight to the move management vendor. Work may include site inspections, site walks, punch-lists, asset transfers, work orders, safety clearances, regulatory compliance, maintenance of all deactivation and move schedules, tracking of issues and dissemination of communications as required. Work with all stakeholders to coordinate orientation and training for staff and building occupants.DocumentationAssist with sourcing and contract management including related RFQ/RFP’s, ensuring that standards for needs are followed. Works with invoicing allocations and budget tracking reports, and schedules. Document Management including project reports, schedules, space reports, meeting minutes, and project file organization. Is the primary liaison with the clinical team to transition space after construction to full clinical operations.Other duties as assigned.Salary range: min $92,500 – mid $115,500 – max $138,500

Expected salary: $92500 – 138500 per year
