This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.Responsibilities:Translating system requirements into hardware design and schematic capture.Managing PWB layout constraints and collaborating with layout engineers.Performing design analysis and simulation for signal/power integrity (SI/PI).Supporting manufacturing, integration, and test phases to ensure hardware performance.Contributing to design for electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and design for manufacturability (DFM).Leading design efforts involving embedded processors, FPGAs, and high-speed memory/storage interfaces.Leveraging tools such as the Mentor Graphics Suite, including DxDesigner, Constraint Manager, and HyperLynx.Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field
(Master’s degree acceptable with reduced experience requirement)8+ years of relevant hardware engineering experience
(or 6+ years with Master’s degree)Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hireDemonstrated expertise in hardware development across full program lifecycleExperience with high-speed digital circuit card design and advanced materials/packagingProficient with Mentor Graphics tools for schematic entry and SI/PI analysisFamiliarity with EMC design practices and compliance standardsPreferred Qualifications:Design with embedded processors, FPGAs, and advanced memory/storage protocolsKnowledge of design for EMC, thermal considerations, and power distributionExposure to defense/aerospace environments or ruggedized hardware developmentMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Still have questions?
