Now Hiring: Pediatric Neuropsychologist or Child Assessment PsychologistLocation: Kimel Psychological Services (KPS), Denver, COWebsite: www.kimelpsych.orgAbout the RoleKimel Psychological Services (KPS) is seeking a licensed (or license-eligible) psychologist to join our team. This full-time role centers on conducting psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults—many of whom present with developmental disabilities, learning disorders, ADHD, autism, or mood-related challenges. Therapy opportunities may also be available if desired.As part of our team, you’ll conduct thorough assessments that help families, schools, and providers better understand a child’s strengths and needs. We serve individuals from age 1 through adulthood, though each clinician typically specializes in certain age ranges. Testing generally occurs 1–2 mornings per week, with report writing and scoring completed remotely for flexibility.Who We AreKPS is a woman- and minority-owned practice with a reputation for excellence in evaluating and supporting individuals with developmental and learning differences. – School-related needs (IEPs, 504s, BIPs)We partner with private pay clients, Medicaid, Medicare, Aetna, Denver Health Medicaid, and the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation.What You’ll Do– Conduct comprehensive evaluations (ADOS-2, WISC-V, WAIS-IV, WIAT-III, and others)
– Write clear and timely reports (drafts due within 10 days of testing)
– Lead parent interviews and feedback sessions
– Participate in case consultations and team meetings
– Maintain organized records (electronic and paper)
– Optionally provide therapy services and/or supervise graduate studentsWhat We’re Looking For– Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical, School, Neuropsychology, or Educational Psychology
– Licensed in Colorado (or license-eligible); Medicaid credentialing required
– Strong background in autism and developmental disability evaluations
– Knowledge of special education systems (IEPs/504s)
– Excellent communication and report-writing skills
– Commitment to culturally responsive care
– Tech-savvy and comfortable with EHRs
– Collaborative, reliable, and not currently in private practiceBonus skills:
– Experience assessing adults for developmental disabilities
– Spanish language proficiency
– Passion for serving underserved or diverse populations
– Supervision experienceWhat We Offer– Salary: $90,000–$115,000 annually (based on experience, caseload, and supervision)
– Schedule: 1–2 testing days per week (9am–3pm) with flexible writing hours
