Compensation Range: $30 – 33 per hourOur client in the music electronics industry is seeking a detail-oriented Email Author/Designer to join their Digital Experience Design team. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting and deploying high-quality email and in-app marketing communications that align with their brand standards. You will collaborate with creative teams, IT, and marketing stakeholders to ensure seamless content delivery across global digital touchpoints. This position requires a blend of design proficiency, technical execution, and project management skills to maintain accuracy, efficiency, and innovation in their email marketing programs.Responsibilities:
Email & In-app content design & creation
- Create and transform creative designs into functional, responsive emails and in- app messages.
- Leverage existing templates and components to ensure brand consistency and accuracy.
- Optimize imagery and video assets.
Asset & workflow management
- Manage and organize digital assets and metadata within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system.
- Ensure timely and accurate execution of email deployment schedules.
- Oversee localization/translation processes to maintain content accuracy across regions.
- Process improvement & documentation.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for email production.
- Identify and implement improvements to tools, workflows, and platform efficiencies.
- Share best practices with the team to enhance productivity and quality.
Collaboration & troubleshooting
- Work closely with creative, IT, and marketing teams to resolve technical issues and optimize functionality.
- Troubleshoot email rendering, deployment, and platform-related challenges.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, using Jira and Confluence for task tracking.
Qualifications:
- Basic understanding of HTML & CSS for email development.
- Advanced communication skills (written and verbal).
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Team player with a proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar tools.
- Experience in Figma (for design collaboration).
- Experience in Jira & Confluence (project management & documentation) or similar project management tools.
- Proficient in Adobe Photoshop for editing assets.
- Experience in email marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
