- Identify New Project Opportunities
Monitor market activity, attend industry events, and proactively engage decision-makers in commercial real estate, development, and architecture. * Grow Our PipelineLeverage local knowledge and relationships to target commercial opportunities in sectors such as healthcare, education, industrial, civic, and retail. * Represent the Hankins BrandBe the face of Hankins Construction in the community—presenting our value proposition clearly and confidently to owners, developers, and partners. * Work Strategically Across TeamsCollaborate closely with preconstruction, estimating, and operations to ensure client expectations are aligned with capabilities and project success.✅ What You Bring
- A track record of success in business development, sales, or client engagement—ideally in commercial construction or real estate development
- A strong understanding of the St. Louis market and its network of developers, brokers, and industry influencers
- Confidence in leading client meetings, RFQ/RFP pursuits, and presentations
- Strategic mindset with the hustle and heart to build from the ground up
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
🎯 Bonus Experience
- CRM fluency (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent)
- Background in construction management or related field
- Active involvement in industry associations (e.g., AGC, CREW, ULI, ICSC)
