Job description: Job Title: Technical Project ManagerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex projects utilizing a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology. The successful candidate will establish a governance framework and maintain a weekly work management cadence to ensure timely completion of deliverables and achievement of milestones.Responsibilities
- Manage the Master Project Plan using a hybrid agile/waterfall methodology.
- Establish a governance framework and maintain a weekly work management cadence.
- Collaborate with customer stakeholders to manage all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including requirements, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure high-quality, value-added communications, status reporting, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
- Participate in the continuous development of industry-specific accelerators, such as templates, best practices, and automation tools.
- Identify and expand opportunities in Program Management, Lean Management, and Change Management.
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct regular program reviews and monitor risks and issues, developing mitigation plans as necessary.
- Prepare and present status reports to leadership.
- Maintain a repository of program documentation and lessons learned.

- Expertise in Microsoft Project
- Strong Systems Engineering and Integration skills
- Proficiency in MBSE (Model Based Systems Engineering)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience in risk management and managing complex portfolios
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field
- 4+ years of experience supporting complex portfolios of projects
- Proven experience in delivering large-scale systems engineering programs
- In-depth understanding of cross-program Risk Management, Schedule Management, and Status Reporting
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders both internal and external
- Master’s degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or related fields is preferred
- OCSMP Certification or equivalent is preferred
- Experience supporting Navy SSP Strategic Weapons System is preferred
Work EnvironmentThis position offers a hybrid work schedule with three days onsite, two mandatory days onsite (Tuesday and Wednesday), and one flexible day. The role follows a 9/80 schedule, providing a balanced work-life environment.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 – $84.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
