Job description: :GFT is seeking a Chief Designer, Civil Transit & Rail to join our Practice or CBG Team in Fort Worth, TX! Job shall include designing, reviewing and checking concepts, plans and reports on the implementation of highway-railroad crossing safety improvements, including crossing removals and establishment of quiet zones.In this capacity, the successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
- Preparing reports, meeting minutes, preparing concept drawings, field observations and attend project meetings
- Coordinate with community and industry stakeholders, including state and federal agencies
- Quality check project deliverables.
- Coordinate with and support team members to meet client expectations
:What you will bring to our firm:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or engineering technology, or a related field.
- 15 to 20 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and knowledge of railroad industry regulations and practices.

Compensation:The hourly range for this role is $65.00 – $80.00. Hourly rate is dependent upon experience and geographic location.Featured Benefits:
