Job description: Landscape Designer – Seattle, WA (Onsite)A boutique landscape architecture firm in Seattle, WA is currently hiring for a Landscape Designer to support residential and native garden projects across the Pacific Northwest. This is a full-time onsite role based in a dog-friendly studio with a collaborative and research-driven culture. Candidates must be local to Seattle or willing to relocate; relocation assistance is not provided.Pay$32.00–$40.00/hr (Depending on years of experience, software proficiency, and relevant project experience)ScheduleStandard Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)Onsite in Seattle, WAResponsibilities
- Prepare graphic presentations for client meetings
- Assist in design drawings and construction documents
- Collaborate with senior staff and project teams
- Contribute to a collaborative and research-driven design environment
- Support planting design, landform, paving, soils, irrigation, and site amenities
Qualification Requirements
- 1–3 years of professional experience in a landscape architecture office
- Expertise in planting design for residential projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, LandFX, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong drawing and visual communication skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to solve design problems through iterative drawing and research
Disqualifiers
- No AutoCAD or LandFX experience
- Less than 1 year of professional landscape architecture experience
- Not local to Seattle or unwilling to work onsite
