http://www.bayportlab.comThe ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant clients, laboratory personnel, or project team members.Responsibilities
- Set project timeline
- Monitor project deliverables
- Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress
- Manage several programs simultaneously. We are looking for project managers that are capable of managing more than 5 programs at a time.
- Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them
- Interact with clients regarding product development details and redirects, ingredient information, meeting schedules, and program updates.
- Collaborate with formulators and laboratory technicians on new innovative processes and ideas for hair care, skin care, and color cosmetic products.
- Organize laboratory sample scheduling to increase efficiency in the pending products’ formula approvals.
- Evaluate laboratory sample batches and provide feedback on performance and product expectations
- Create preliminary ingredient lists and marketing information on the pending items
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in project management and/or science background
- Strong business acumen in project planning and management
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management skills
- Color matching skills and knowledge
- Passionate about the beauty space
- At least 3 years as a Product Development/ Project Manager in the Cosmetic industry
