We are hiring to expand our Commercial Kitchen Cleaning Service Line with a dedicated FiltaClean Manager. WE MAKE A DIFFERENCE! (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday are full days with Saturday 1/2 day.) Hours are afternoon to evening or evening to overnight as required by the customer’s jobs. Tuesdays and Fridays are off. Most shifts are between 7 pm- 3 am, with some variance, depending on the assigned job. This is a working manager position and the manager should expect to participate in the cleaning jobs as well as manage others.Commercial kitchen cleaning experience is highly recommended. Mechanical aptitude is helpful as well as attention to detail. Computer skills are a plus. MUST BE ABLE TO SHOW UP ON TIME AND WORK EVENINGS AND OVERNIGHT WITH A SET SCHEDULE. Must possess integrity to do the right thing, even when no one is watching. Must follow the prescribed training on how we clean.All training is provided and paid.The primary responsibility of the Commercial Cleaning Manager is to safely and efficiently provide cleaning for our commercial customers. FiltaClean is a detailed cleaning service utilizing a steam cleaner and approved cleaning supplies designed to meet the current and future deep cleaning demand within the commercial kitchen industry. The nature of the service is to provide on-site detailed cleaning solutions for clients ranging from individual pieces of kitchen equipment to entire kitchen/restaurant facilities and beyond. By providing weekly, monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, or yearly cleaning solutions, Filta offers yet another environmentally friendly kitchen solution for our customers.Responsibilities
- Conduct one-time and/or regular cleaning of restaurants and large facilities–this is a working manager role and you will be actively involved in all cleaning jobs with staff to manage but you will be expected to participate in the cleaning
- Provide friendly, high-quality customer service
- Follow the assigned schedule and be on time for appointments
- Manage the schedules for the staff
- Train new employees on cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Manage supplies effectively and advise when inventory needs to be ordered
- Communicate effectively with customers and management
- Perform daily and weekly care and preventative maintenance of all cleaning equipment, including company vehicles and company equipment
- Maintain service records for each customer
- Complete daily service records and submit to management
- Engage in customer recruitment and retention initiatives
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures and wear the required PPE gear provided
- Assure compliance with franchise standards/policies
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Mississippi driver’s license, three-year driving history, and clean driving record (no moving violations or accidents for the last 3 years)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled conditions
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping management is highly preferred
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively supervise a team
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in commercial settings
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to commercial cleaning operations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- High school diploma/GED or the equivalent in experience
- Discipline to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively
- Initiative to learn and to stay up to date on the latest service procedures
- Reliable transportation to and from the warehouse in Jackson, MS
- Pass drug screening and background check
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus
- Must have a smartphone capable of downloading the company app to complete service jobs and clock in/out
- Ability to see information in print and/or electronically
- Ability to complete services that require lifting, bending, standing, walking, driving, reaching, stooping/kneeling, talking, hearing, and handling objects with hands

- In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
- Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.

- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to temperatures: <32 degrees Fahrenheit (freezing), 32-40 degrees Fahrenheit (refrigerators), >90 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to use tools and equipment, including box cutters, floor cleaning machines, and sanitizing steamers.

Expected salary: $41000 – 49500 per year
