Job description: Position: Mark VIe/VIeS Controls EngineerLocation: Wilmington, NC/Greenville, SC (Onsite)Exp: 5-12 YrsPosition Type: W2 only (Long Term)Only USC / GCJob Overview:Key Responsibilities:Designing, Implementing and Commissioning of new control loops as per site requirements.Mark V, Mark VI & Mark VIe Control software upgrading and modification.Control software coding as per standards and contractual requirements. All software to be demonstrated and approved by technical leader.Work with the Gamma Thermometer Data Acquisition System and develop system requirements.Final design and prototype of Gamma Thermometer Data Acquisition SystemReview of control philosophy, P&I diagram, instruments list, flow chart.Review and report all device discrepancies between P&IDs, signal lists and other relevant inputs before software implementation.Data link configuration.Cimplicity screen configuration and testingSoftware Acceptance Test (SWAT).Controls software Modifications for Power Generation Steam PowerHMI Screens Modifications for Power Generation ProjectsTIL Implementations.Review Customer requirements/Specifications and work with stakeholders/customers to meet/clarify specs.Write, Test & develop requirements for application code and failure mode driven validation methodologiesProvide Start Up, Remote Commissioning support and work with experts on issue resolutionQualifications / Requirements:Good knowledge on TOOLBOX ST, CIMPLICITY for Steam Turbine and Plant ControlsExcellent communication interpersonal skills.Proven experience in writing controls logic using ladder logic/statement list/block logic diagrams, PLC/DCS EngineeringExperience with MKVIe, & ToolboxSTStrong communication, presentation and project management skillsExperience working in global, matrixed organizations and ability to make good timely decisions based on dataCapable of handling multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and prioritizing to meet business objectives.Self-starter who can accept broad-based assignmentsDesired Skills:SCADA: CIMPLICITY.Controllers: Mark V, Mark VI, Mark VIeControl Software: Toolbox STControl Simulator: Mark VIe Virtual Controller, Unity, Easy 5 ModelBest regards,Prasad Kalsekar | Hudson Manpower
