This role demands a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and embedded software development for 32-bit ARM processors. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills and thrive in a collaborative environment.Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical systems, circuits, and components for electronic module-level devices.
- Analyze system requirements and specifications to ensure electrical and embedded software solutions meet project goals.
- Create detailed technical drawings and schematics.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting, and quality assurance on electrical systems and embedded software.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Participate in project planning, cost estimation, and timeline development.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in electrical engineering technologies, embedded systems, and best practices.
- Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of systems.
Essential Skills
- Electrical design, PCB design, schematic capture, PCB layout.
- Proficiency in CAD software (Altium preferred).
- 5+ years of product experience with government, defense, aerospace, or consumer industrial products.
- Experience with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, connectivity, USB.
- Strong technical experience in hardware and embedded software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., UL, IEEE).
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, circuits, power distribution, and embedded software development.
- Experience with testing and troubleshooting electrical components and embedded software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical PCB design.
- Experience with C programming for embedded systems, including development for 32-bit ARM processors.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
