- Must have a minimum of 5 years of aerospace experience, preferably in a part 145 environment
- Technical ability and understanding of FAA Regulations and Engineering Compliance is required
- Must have an A & P License or be eligible for FAA Repairman’s Certificate
- Basic knowledge of Solidworks software is preferred
Primary Duties:
- The candidate for this position is responsible for day-to-day oversight of AQRD 145 New Product Development. The focus is on providing strategic planning and implementation of new processes.
- Responsible for creating 2D drawings from scanned files.
- Responsible for 3D printing for all AQRD companies.
- Responsible for evaluating new business opportunities to determine feasibility and how they fit with current capabilities. Collaboration will include marketing, engineering, vendors, and 145 production personnel.
- Responsible for submitting cost proposals and designs for evaluation by the NPD Team and management for consideration.
- Responsible for supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development.
- Responsible for all Fabrication efforts that are not associated with work orders.
- Responsible for documentation of all NPD efforts in in AQRD ERP software and file servers.
- Responsible for creating new training presentations to be used by the AQRD 145 Repair Station.
- Responsible for ensuring that NPD products released to the AQRD 145 Repair Station are complete and repeatable.
- Responsible for Quantum Control Administration, including access permissions, process implementation, and evaluating new modules.
- Responsible for coordinating with Webmaster to improve content on the AQRD website.

- The successful candidate will have exceptional communication skills, teamwork ability, and a drive/passion for the Aerospace industry.
- Must have good computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office products.
- Able to work as a team member, highly organized, work well under pressure and handle multiple priorities. Must possess interpersonal and communication skills to interact with other people inside and outside the company.
- Must be self-motivated, conscientious and have the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high timeline pressure environment. AQRD is a dynamic growing work environment, and candidate must be able to adapt and find solutions to challenges day to day.
- Sound judgment, thoroughness and accuracy are expected. Exercises some latitude in determining activities and approaches to completing assignments.
