- Develop innovative design concepts that reflect current fashion trends.
- Create sketches and seasonal presentations to showcase proposed designs.
- Collaborate with sourcing and materials development teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Participate in fit sessions, providing basic fit and body block information.
- Analyze fashion trends and adapt designs accordingly to meet market demands.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in fashion design with a strong portfolio.
- Excellent sketching and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of fabric, color, and style trends.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with digital design tools and software.
- Knowledge of sustainable fashion practices.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
