- Design and analyze transmission, distribution and renewable projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Develop and execute project plans, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Conduct electrical system simulations and modeling to optimize performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution, from initial planning through to commissioning.
- Prepare and review technical documents, including design specifications, drawings, and reports.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Stay abreast of technological advancements and regulatory changes in the power and renewable sectors.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of project development and execution.
qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- 5-9 years of progressive experience in electrical engineering related to distribution, transmission, or renewable energy projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering software tools, such as PLS-CADD, PVsyst, or similar.
- Solid understanding of national and international energy sector standards and regulations.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
