With compatibility scores and relationship readiness at its core, every match on nectar starts with aligned intentions. We’re looking for a forward-thinking Growth & Retention Design Consultant to help us supercharge our product experience and build a dating app that actually gets Gen Z to date with purpose. You’ll design experiences that drive real connection—across onboarding, activation, and retention—while helping us shape the future of love in the digital age.This role is perfect for someone who’s obsessed with Gen Z behavior, fluent in dating app dynamics, and eager to build something culture-shifting.What You’ll Do:
- Lead and execute design strategies focused on growth, onboarding, and long-term user retention.
- Partner closely with engineering, design, and marketing to create frictionless product experiences that spark real engagement.
- Use behavioral insights, user research, and product data to identify drop-off points and craft intuitive solutions.
- Own the design and optimization of onboarding flows, in-app journeys, and re-engagement strategies.
- Drive rapid prototyping, testing, and iteration to keep us nimble, scrappy, and ahead of the curve.
- Maintain a scalable design system that supports fast iteration and experimentation.
Who You Are:
- Strong understanding of growth funnels, onboarding UX, and retention tactics
- Expertise in UX/UI design tools
- Ability to translate complex user data into actionable design improvements
- Experience in agile, fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Prior experience working on consumer apps with a focus on onboarding and retention
- Knowledge of product-led growth (PLG) methodologies
- Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation platforms
- Deep understanding of Gen Z culture, values, and how they use dating and social apps
- A passion for reinventing dating. Not just optimizing swipe rates, but creating space for real intimacy and intentional connection
