This position acts as a thought leader, driving the creation of comprehensive technical solutions that address complex organizational needs. With a focus on integrating multiple systems and applications, this role evaluates customer requirements and delivers expert-level technical strategies to enhance organizational efficiency. As a key leader and trusted advisor, this position ensures seamless collaboration with stakeholders while providing exceptional customer service. Moreover, it serves as the primary interface for the ECM Planning & Preconstruction Team, guiding much of the user base with authoritative expertise and transformative solutions.About the DivisionThe primary purpose of the Engineering Applications Services (EAS) Unit is to coordinate and direct the planning, development, or procurement, installation, operation, and support of software for the various Divisions, Branches and Units of NCDOT. EAS contains the following units: HiCAMS (Highway Construction and Materials System); Engineering Design and CADD Services (EDCS); Letting and Compliance Systems (LCS); and Engineering Content Management (ECM). The primary purpose of the Engineering Content Management (ECM) Unit is to provide IT tools and applications to facilitate the Transportation Project Lifecycle for the North Carolina Department of Transportation.About the OrganizationThe serves as the Technology Center for the State of NC.
