Job description: Job Title: Cleaning Specialist (On-Site)
Location: Altavista, VA
Hours: 6:30am – 3:00 pmResponsibilities:
- Adhere and perform all housekeeping and sanitation assignments guidelines and procedures as required, including safe operation of equipment.
- Use self-propelled floor scrubbers, floor buffers and/or chemical buffers to meet sanitation requirements.
- Clean and sanitize areas where raw ingredients are stored for manufacturing and trailer dock door areas.
- May require minimal forklift driving.
Qualification:
- 0-1 years related experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation requirements in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to accurately mix chemicals used in cleaning solutions.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Forklift driving experience is preferred.
