Job description: Job Title: CAD Designer – Project ContractJob DescriptionJoin a pioneering team in the aerospace industry as a CAD Designer, where you will create and revise drawings for innovative UAS (Unmanned Aerial Systems) designs. Leverage your expertise in aerospace design, SolidWorks, and composite materials to contribute to cutting-edge UAS projects.Responsibilities
- Create detailed fuselage and part drawings for UAS using SolidWorks based on models.
- Define and draft composite part drawings to provide precise specifications for layup and assembly.
- Revise and update existing designs and drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with client specifications.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in CAD design and SolidWorks.
- Experience in aerospace design
- Strong understanding of composite materials and mechanical design.
- Familiarity with PDM (Product Data Management) systems.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with NX software is advantageous.
- Knowledge of composite, metallic (including machined aluminum), and plastic parts.
- Ability to work with various fasteners.
