Job description: The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.Responsibilities:Establish data visualization standards and explore new, cutting-edge tools to periodically raise those standards.Qualifications:6+ years of experience in data visualization development as a hands on developerData Visualization – Candidate must understand the value proposition of visualizing dataProject Management – Candidate must be able to scope projects, evaluate project plans for feasibility, and monitor progress against the planCommunication and Influencing – Candidate must possess excellent listening skills and be able to distill and concisely articulate key messages in verbal and written formExperience with Data Visualization libraries/tools like D3.js, three.js, Highcharts, and more generally, SVG, HTML5 Canvas, WebGLStrong background in building interactive, user-friendly, visualizations displaying large, complex data sets using JavaScript (D3.js)Experience with JavaScript frameworks, Backbone, Angular, EmberExperience with SQL, ETL, data warehousing & Business Intelligence concepts requiredExperience working as part of software development teams would be beneficial.Domain knowledge of Capital Markets, Trading lifecycle, would be important to haveWorking experience with of NLP and ML models is a mustStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills – strong oral, written communication, and presentations skillsDemonstrable proficiency with Data Visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView, Power BI, Spotfile, ) or Data Visualization librariesExperience in developing product which hosts metrics, workflows, rules configuration etcEducation:Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experienceMaster’s degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
