Job description: Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume):
Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Two (2) years of full-time administrative experience. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google applications. Project management experience and/or experience coordinating events.Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree (foreign equivalent or higher). Additional years (3+) of full-time administrative experience. Calendar management experience. Experience working in the government sector. Experience drafting correspondences/communications. Experience working with an E-Procurement System. Experience with conference and/or event planning. Experience securing and facilitating virtual meetings.Brief Description of Duties:
The Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Executive Director of Conferences & Special Events, plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department. This individual needs to be dynamic and excels in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, and possesses a passion for contributing to a team dedicated to excellence. This role oversees office operations and provides essential administrative support to the department. The incumbent is expected to provide optimal customer service, as this position will be working with internal and external stakeholders.Office/Business Operations

This is a full-time appointment.
