CSS team members enjoy a mix of office and jobsite activities and are exposed to a wide array of projects. The successful applicant is not required to know everything about commissioning but will need to be coachable and eager to learn.Responsibilities
- Assist with the following tasks:
- Commissioning System Administration.
- Commissioning Checklist Creation based on Design Drawings.
- Witnessing onsite Functional Testing of various equipment.
- Document Management.
- Review of project design drawings and project specifications.
- Proposal writing and opportunity research.
- Building energy modeling software and/or energy audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or similar Engineering Degree.
- Position appropriate for entry-level through 2 years’ experience.
- HVAC, Plumbing, and/or Electrical controls experience preferred.
- Building Energy Modeling Professional certification preferred (BEMP).
- Energy Manager certification preferred (CEM or EMP).
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Ability to climb a step ladder, work on uneven terrain, and otherwise safely operate on a construction site.
