Overview of the Role:
Join a leading force in the renewable energy industry as a Commissioning Manager in Solar Analytics. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the performance and compliance of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) systems. Your expertise will drive the successful startup, commissioning, and testing of large-scale solar projects, contributing to a sustainable energy future.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance analytics of PV systems, including inverters, trackers, substations, and SCADA control systems.
- Oversee ISO/GIA/PPA testing and energy forecasting during system startups.
- Act as the Owners representative, ensuring compliance, reporting, and commissioning work by contractors/vendors.
- Collaborate with IT & SCADA teams for functional checks and schedule development.
- Verify SCADA HMI functionality and support critical point checkouts.
- Review performance data to identify and address deficiencies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in utility solar power systems.
- Knowledge of utility-scale PV construction, commissioning, and components (e.g., PV modules, inverters, transformers).
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and grid participants like Transmission Operators or ISOs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365.
- Strong communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
