Job description: Senior Electrical Designer – Houston, TX!Halff has a current opening for a Senior Electrical Designer in our Houston, TX location. The ideal candidate would bring at least 3 years of electrical design experience with a working knowledge of NEC, IESNA, ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC. - Design, layout, and circuiting of equipment for electrical systems (i.e. lighting systems, lighting controls, circuiting HVAC and Plumbing equipment, etc.).
- Set-up drawing sheets into AutoCAD and/or REVIT, develop panel schedules, and develop one-line diagrams.
- Assisting in estimated project construction cost and specification writing is a plus.
- Support multiple projects as needed, with efficient completion of assignment.
What you will need:
- 3-5 years of Electrical design experience, mechanical or plumbing experience is a plus
- Must have experience with AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
- Working knowledge of NEC and IESNA.
- Working knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and IECC.
- CAD certification or Associate’s degree, desired.
