Job description: Kforce has a client that seeks a Senior/VP Data & Business Analyst with experience in financial services in Jersey City, NJ. There is an opportunity for fulltime employment in 2026 with client. Project Details:
- In this role, the Senior/VP Data and Business Analyst will be supporting a major 12-month data platform migration (upstream new platform change)
- Understand and analyze the new data model, identify data gaps, map fields, and work with dev teams to implement and reconcile
- Working closely under a Senior VP/Director BA, especially during initial analysis phase
- Expect collaborative work across locations
- 8+ years of DA & BA experience in financial services
- Strong SQL & Excel – must be hands-on with complex relational & analytical queries (not just basic lookups) to ID requirements
- Experience working with large datasets and performing data exploration, reconciliation, and mapping
- Familiarity with Python & SSIS preferred (used for data analysis/ETL)
- Data modeling exp. & use of tools like Erwin will be more than helpful to understand data consumption, gaps & migration but not mandatory, last hire started career as Erwin DA then promoted to VP Financial Analyst
- Experience & comfortable working cross-functionally with tech and business teams
- Knowledge of credit risk/market risk data is a big plus
- We will prioritize data-heavy BA candidates over traditional process-focused BAs
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range.
