See links below to learn more about Siemens Mobility:Position Overview:Join our team as a Factory Commissioning Test Operator, where you’ll play a hands-on role in launching the next generation of light rail vehicles, locomotives, and coaches. You’ll be responsible for commissioning, diagnosing, and resolving issues across complex systems-including electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic components.What your day-to-day will look like:
- Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on locomotive and coach cars
- Troubleshoot, document and repair electrical and mechanical failures
- Work with state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment.
- Understand and comply with company and industry safety standards.
- Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.
- Have ability to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.
- Read, interpret and understand written or electronic schematics.
- Use PTU’s to troubleshoot various systems onboard rail vehicles.
To thrive in this role, you have:
- High school diploma (or GED)
- 2+ years experience in electrical testing
- Must be proficient in electrical & mechanical troubleshooting
