If you’re tired of “check-the-box” safety roles and ready to embed real culture change across field teams-you’ll want to keep reading.This is a visible, strategic role at a company that doesn’t just prioritize safety-it leads with it.What You’ll OwnLeadership & ComplianceOversee the design, rollout, and enforcement of company-wide EHS programsConduct jobsite audits and facility inspections, managing corrective actions and root cause investigationsEnsure ongoing compliance with OSHA, NFPA 70E, and applicable federal, state, and local regulationsSpearhead safety planning around Lockout/Tagout, fall protection, electrical safety, confined space entry, and moreTraining & Culture-BuildingDeliver onboarding and refresher trainings across field and leadership teamsLead safety coaching for managers to foster top-down accountabilityTrack key safety metrics, certifications, and KPIs using data platforms like Power BIRisk Management & Incident ResponseManage incident investigations, workers’ comp claims, and vehicle-related eventsBuild trend analyses and dashboards to proactively reduce riskSupport field planning through job hazard analyses (JHAs), permitting, and contractor onboardingCross-Functional CollaborationServe as the go-to liaison with regulatory agencies and third-party auditorsPartner with operations leaders to drive safety program execution at all levelsOversee accurate SDS logs, PPE compliance, and field safety readinessWhat You Bring to the TableRequired:6-8 years of EHS experience in construction, electrical, industrial, or utility environmentsSolid working knowledge of OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and construction site safety practicesExperience in incident reporting, claims processes, and audit managementOSHA 30, NFPA 70E, and First Aid/CPR certifications (or willingness to obtain quickly)Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with analytics tools like Power BIPreferred:Degree in Environmental Health & Safety or equivalent field experienceSafety certifications such as CSP, ASP, CHST, or SMSBackground in the electrical trades or direct experience in utility/high-voltage safety operationsWhy This CompanyBase salary starting at $150K+, depending on experienceFull benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with match, tuition reimbursement, and paid parental leaveBonus incentives tied to certification milestones and performancePaid holidays, wellness days, and a people-first company cultureReal impact and visibility across the organizationPhysical Requirements:
