We now have offices in Dallas, San Antonio, and Houston, Texas, and our service capabilities include all aspects of electrical, instrumentation, and controls engineering design; industrial control system programming; and IT infrastructure design, networking, and consulting services. Our work primarily serves municipal water/wastewater utilities, state and local jails, detention/corrections facilities, as well as private clients.We are seeking an entry level electrical and instrumentation engineer to join our team in the San Antonio office.Essential Functions
- Support senior staff in performing industrial control system assessments and prepare preliminary design reports (PDRs)
- Develop detailed technical documentation such as project plans and specifications, engineering reports, etc.
- Support senior staff in development of Opinion of Probable Construction Cost (OPCC)
- Support senior staff in witnessing of field acceptance test (FATs) and field inspections
- Ability to travel up to 20%
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering highly preferred
- Certification as an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment
- Ability to take direction effectively and work in a team environment
- Experience in water/wastewater preferred, but not required
- Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- AutoCAD and Microstation experience preferred, but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be available to work in San Antonio, TX
