We work with gaming publishers, developers, platform, and technology partners from around the world to bring Xbox and Windows games and services (e.g., Game Pass, Xbox Cloud Gaming) to Microsoft’s customers.The Global Platform Business Development team at Microsoft is looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to help drive platform growth for Xbox through strategic partnerships and business development. You will have the opportunity to work across various teams in Xbox including product, engineering, marketing, finance, legal, sales, and others, as well as a broad set of additional stakeholders across Microsoft.In this role, you will serve as a key team member on the Platform Gaming Business Development team and be responsible for driving select partnership engagement, deal negotiations, execution success for new and existing deals, and ongoing deal governance and optimization. This candidate will have business development, Go-To-Market (GTM), and partner management experience, and possess collaboration and analytical capabilities with a passion for consumer technology. You will be a deal maker, with a focus on identifying new strategic partnership opportunities to accelerate margin growth.The position is based in the United States, with consideration for onsite and/or virtual work flexibility and will require international and domestic travel. Business Development IC4 – The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 – $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 – $222,600 per year.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
