Schedule: Monday to Friday, 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Duration: 8 weeksPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support hospital-based behavioral health services. This short-term contract role focuses on providing psychological and social support to patients and families in an acute care setting during evening hours.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide counseling or crisis intervention
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
- Coordinate discharge planning and connect patients to appropriate community resources
- Advocate for patient needs while ensuring compliance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Maintain timely documentation and case records
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a hospital-based Social Worker
- Active Georgia LCSW license
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Previous experience in an acute care hospital environment
