Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare detailed 3D models and technical drawings in Revit for HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, and Process Piping systems
- Create, update, and manage BIM models to ensure coordination across mechanical, electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines
- Perform clash detection using Revit and resolve design conflicts in collaboration with project stakeholders
- Interpret engineering sketches, blueprints, and specifications to create accurate design layouts
- Revise designs based on client feedback, changes, and field conditions
- Conduct field visits to gather measurements and verify existing conditions
- Maintain drawing files, BIM models, and documentation according to company standards
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and best practices
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to incorporate equipment specifications into designs
- Support fabrication and installation teams by providing clear drawings
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in designing HVAC, Refrigeration, Plumbing, or Process Piping systems for commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of BIM processes and workflows
- Understanding of building codes, mechanical systems, and construction practices
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related field
