Supports the director and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. The admin job scope ensures that all administrative duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality in a timely manner.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Answers and directs phone callsOrganizes and schedules meetings and appointmentsMaintains contact listsProduces and distributes memos, letters, faxes and other forms of correspondenceAssists in the preparation of regularly scheduled reportsDevelops and maintains a filing systemOrders office suppliesBooks travel arrangementsSubmits and reconciles expense reportsProvides general support to visitorsPrepares board agenda itemsPrepares contracts for approvalCompletes special education referralsPrepares purchase orders for approvalPrepares payroll for approvalMonitors and submits invoices for paymentPrepares professional development packets for submissionPerforms other duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS:Associates degree preferred or three (3) years of experience in general secretarial and clerical work.
