Job description: Electrical DesignerResponsibilities
- Sets up and manages Revit models
- Performs Revit modeling and detailing
- May assist to conduct site investigation and observations
- Assists in performing cross discipline discussions and coordination of work for system clash avoidance
- May assist with performing construction contract administration
- Experience completing basic sizing and layout
- May attend client and internal meetings
Qualifications
- 4-9 years of experience
- Associates Degree from Technical College or 4-year non-engineering degree
General Characteristics
- Beginners knowledge of codes and related industry standards
- Knowledge and proficiency using industry standard software calculation packages preferred
- Knowledge and proficiency with industry standard computer software is a plus
- Strong graphic, verbal, and written communication skills
- Tangential knowledge of other building systems
- Positive attitude and commitment to being an active participant working as part of a multi-discipline team
- Demonstrates reliability and integrity by meeting quality and schedule commitments to colleagues
Expected salary: $75000 – 90000 per year
