Employment Type: Full-Time | Compensation: $75,000 – $85,000 annually (DOE) + Full BenefitsGreat Basin Staffing LLC is seeking a full-time BIM Operator for an immediate opening with a leading electrical contractor in Salt Lake City, UT. This is a long-term opportunity for a motivated candidate with a passion for construction technology and digital modeling to join a growing VDC/Preconstruction team.Key Responsibilities:Develop BIM models for electrical systems, including telecom, fire alarm, and security as neededImplement and follow project BIM Execution Plans, including LOD and client standardsCoordinate with project managers, engineers, foremen, and general contractors to resolve design issues and support constructabilityGenerate accurate shop drawings, plan sets, and schedulesAssist in developing and maintaining company BIM standardsAttend project meetings and provide technical input as requiredSupport project delivery across multiple phases and teamsRequired Qualifications:Working knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, or ReviztoUnderstanding of electrical system design, with the ability to read single-line diagrams and plan setsExperience working with cloud-based model coordinationStrong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Associate degree in drafting/design or Autodesk Certification preferred2+ years of electrical BIM modeling experience (MEP experience strongly preferred)Compensation & Benefits:Pay Range: $75,000 – $85,000 annually, based on experienceSchedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday (early out on Fridays)Benefits Include:Medical, dental, and life insuranceShort- and long-term disability401(k) with company matchPaid time off (PTO)Ongoing training and advancement opportunitiesAbout Great Basin Staffing LLC:Great Basin Staffing is a trusted provider of skilled labor solutions across the western U.S. We connect top-tier professionals with long-term and short-term roles in construction, engineering, and industrial trades.
