Job description: Job RequirementsPosition SummaryIndividual works in a self-directed fashion to provide diversified and administrative support for the department. They maintain a close and highly responsive relationship for the day-to-day activities of the department. It requires knowledge of office routine and an understanding of the organization, programs and procedures related to the work of the department, hospital, etc. It requires familiarity with physician/ hospital and clinical practice and an ability to interact with people at all levels of the organization and community. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to problem solve, multi task and utilize critical thinking skills effectively.Minimum RequirementsEducation· High School Diploma or training in secretarial scienceExperience· 1-2 years’ experience in clinical or healthcare areaLicense/Registration/Certifications· N/APreferred RequirementsPreferred Education· N/APreferred Experience

Preferred License/Registration/Certifications· N/ACore Job Responsibilities· Responsible for Accounts Payable/Check Requests· Responsible for entering provider and clinical PTO/time off in Google calendar· Responsible for calling CFM patients for appointment reminders· Responsible for completing Purchasing requisitions· Orders office supplies for department and maintains supply closet and break room supplies· Responsible for assisting management and leadership with projects, filing, copying, minutes· Responsible for scheduling meetings for CFM conference room and multipurpose conference room· Incoming mail to department is received, opened, sorted, and distributed on a daily basis· Responsible for coordinating volunteers· Responsible for ordering food when necessary· Responsible for typing and preparing dictations· Faxing and mailing reports, letters and statement to doctors and patients· Answering phone, taking messages, copying, scanning, and filing· Scheduling appointments on the computer calendar and appointment book for physician’s private practice/CFM patient with resident· Coordinating with front desk and referral coordinators on scheduling appointment for Family Medicine and Chesnee patients· Transferring patient files at the end of the year and starting patient files for the new year· Assisting and preparing for Behavior Health rotation for residents· Administering and scoring of MMPI-2 residents and patients· Assist Med Ed team with projects, communications, and noon conferences.· Assist Med Ed team with condensing and closing end of 3rd year advisor and personnel files· Assist Med Ed team in setting up new Interns folders for advisors and personnel files· Assist Med Ed team during applicant interview season· Perform other duties as assigned.
