Job description: Job DescriptionJob Title: Clinical Nutrition ManagerLocation: Chestnut Hill Hospital – Philadephia, PAAramark Healthcare+ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join our healthcare team as the Clinical Nutrition Manager. This role will provide nutrition care to our higher acuity patient population as well as oversee the clinical policies and standards for the location. While the role is primarily patient facing, it will also lead the department in directing clinical activities, functioning as a member of the multidisciplinary health care team to implement nutrition care plans, and establishing and maintaining policies, standards and programs for the provision of optimal, cost-effective nutrition care to patients.Job Responsibilities
- Assess patient’s nutritional status and develop individualized nutrition plans based on their medical history, current health status, and specific needs
- Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement clinical protocols and best practices for nutrition care
- Monitor patients’ progress and make modifications to their nutrition plans as needed
- Establishes and maintains policies, standards and programs for the provision of optimal, cost-effective nutrition care to patients. This includes coordinating and directing all clinical activities and determining and implementing appropriate staffing levels.
- Assists in the performance planning process for Dietitians and Dietetic Interns and interviews, selects and trains employees within the Food and Nutrition Services
- Develops goals and objectives for Clinical Nutrition team to maintain high quality care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in the field of clinical nutrition
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics from an accredited institution
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential and current license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Experience in Management or Leadership role required
- 2 or more years of clinical experience preferred
- CNSC credential preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
