You will collaborate closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate complex user requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Your work will be integral in enhancing both legacy and modern software experiences, primarily focusing on Back Office design with an emphasis on accounting. You will also drive the design culture within the company and improve the overall user experience through continuous iteration and feedback.Accountabilities:
- Lead the design of Back Office systems, specifically focusing on accounting-related workflows and interfaces
- Work in close partnership with Product Managers (PMs) and Developers to define user requirements and deliver high-quality design solutions
- Produce design deliverables, including workflows, wireframes, personas, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes in Figma
- Conduct user research and engage with customers to validate design concepts and ensure alignment with user needs
- Collaborate with software engineers to ensure that designs are implemented accurately and meet functional requirements
- Help improve the overall UX design process and continue to evolve the company’s design standards and system
- Analyze and improve both legacy and modern software by creating wireframes and storyboards for UX improvements based on feedback
- Advocate for UX best practices within the team and the broader organization
Requirements
- 3-5 years of proven experience as a digital product designer, specializing in Research, UX, and UI design
- Strong background in deciphering user requirements and documenting design solutions
- Experience designing mobile applications and growing a design culture within an organization
- Expertise in prototyping and wireframing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, InVision)
- Demonstrated experience in user testing, usability testing, and working with user acceptance criteria
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas and solutions to a wide range of stakeholders
- Strong understanding of design approaches and methodologies, with the ability to lead design vision and strategy
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
