We’re a vibrant, community-focused early learning center in South Boston, MA, serving children ages 0–5 and creating an environment where children, families, and educators thrive. We’re now looking to take that same intentionality into how we welcome and onboard new staff.Project Overview
We’re seeking a creative and experienced professional to design a new self-guided onboarding experience for our incoming teachers and support staff. Our goal is to make onboarding fun, warm, engaging, and informative—something that reflects who we are as a center and sets the tone for success.ResponsibilitiesDesign a digital, interactive onboarding system for new hiresEnsure the content is self-guided, welcoming, and easy to navigateTranslate key policies, expectations, and Ethos values into engaging formatsInclude visual elements, videos, quizzes, or interactive pieces where helpfulProvide a structure that is easy for our team to update in the futureCollaborate with Ethos leadership to gather content and feedbackDeliver the final onboarding in a user-friendly platform (e.g., Notion, Canva, Google Slides, or other recommended tools)Who We’re Looking ForA background in instructional design, digital training, onboarding, HR, or communicationsExperience creating onboarding materials or employee-facing contentStrong design and storytelling skillsAble to balance creativity with clarity and compliancePassionate about creating meaningful experiences for othersBonus: Familiarity with early childhood education or nonprofit settingsTimeline & CompensationProject start: ASAPEstimated project length: 4–6 weeksCompensation: Competitive, based on experience and scopeTo Apply:
