Job description: Overview:We seek a full-time Design Manager, Social & Digital, to be part of the Global Design Communications team in our New York City office. You will help us tell how PepsiCo Design & Innovation is solving real problems for real people in the real world through our award-winning work, design-led business integration, and thought leadership in the design and marketing communities. These stories are told across Global Design’s owned social channels, website (design.pepsico.com), our annual design books, presentations, case-study videos, sizzle reels, and cultural events.Reporting to the Sr. Production Manager, Social & Digital, you will collaborate with peers across the design team to manage and deliver high-quality social, digital, and video assets that support our Global Design Communications strategy.This position requires a high level of skill, confidence, and resourcefulness. The role helps support our goal to showcase our best-in-class creative work, the topics of innovation, diversity in design, sustainability, human-centered design, and best practices for integrating an in-house team within a corporation. Responsibilities:
- Owns the design and production of content for owned social and digital channels, ensuring it aligns with our Global Design Communications strategy
- Conducts brainstorming sessions and collaborates with the design team toward big ideas, innovative executions, and new opportunities for organic social growth
- Creates static, video, and motion design assets for social, web, and digital media
- Creates templates, style guides, playbooks, and presentation decks
- Works with the Sr. Production Manager to develop a monthly content planning calendar and stays current on the latest trends and best practices in social content design
- Ensures content is produced to agreed scopes and timescales, including integrated projects where digital, print, events, media, and social media components all require cohesion
- Develops strong relationships with internal peers and collaborates on the execution of shared projects
- Tracks the performance of social media content and makes data-driven decisions with the Sr. Production Manager and Design Director
- Partners with agencies, when required, to lead the art direction and storytelling for longer-form videos such as project case studies and sizzle reels
- Creates quarterly metric reports to review social strategy learnings and pitch new ideas
- Leads creative on presentations and playbooks for internal and external audiences
- Manages vendors, budgets, and freelance creatives as required
Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $106,400 – $178,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 12% of annual salary paid out annually.

Qualifications:
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, collaborative, resourceful, ambitious, and entrepreneurial
- A portfolio that shows a high level of social media design, typography, and video editing skills, exemplifying your passions and interests as a creative professional
- Bachelor’s degree in design with a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in a design role working on social and digital content for brands, agencies, or digital editorial products
- Expert knowledge of all Adobe apps and social video editing tools
- Confidence in managing projects that involve research, photography, illustration, scriptwriting, social video editing, motion graphics
- Experience conceptualizing and producing diverse content for multiple platforms
- Basic photography and video skills for capturing everyday social content
- Fluent in the latest design, cultural, and social media trends
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices
- Writing and editing skills for social content and internal/external presentations
- Experience managing freelancers, photographers, videographers, editors
- Thorough knowledge of media production, file formats, digital workflows, basic color correction and retouching
- Experience using project management-related tools (i.e. Asana, Airtable, Monday.com)
