Job description: Job Title: Sr Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThe Sr Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing products that support fiber optic networks and other applications, as well as their production processes. This role requires expertise in designing electrical elements such as circuits, power management, and communication functions.Responsibilities
- Design electrical elements including overall circuits, power management, sensors, and actuator control, ensuring effective communication between internal and external modules using protocols like I2C, SPI, Ethernet, SNMP, and wireless cellular.
- Conduct engineering research, experiments, and simulations to develop production processes, ensuring safety, durability, and cost-effectiveness in a mass production environment.
- Perform hands-on physical experiments to gather objective data for decision-making, considering the product’s application, safety, long-term reliability, and manufacturability.
- Stay updated with industry standards and certifications, applying new knowledge and tools relevant to fiber optic communication and micro-optics.
Essential Skills
- Electrical circuit design, including PCB development with embedded microcontrollers.
- Proficiency in C or Python programming.
- Project management skills.
- 5-10+ years of experience in designing electrical circuits.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62.50 – $72.11/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job
