Job description: Job Description:The Foundation for Fresno Unified Students is looking for a dynamic and mission-driven Manager of Development & Strategic Initiatives to help us bring bold ideas to life. In this role, you’ll lead and support a variety of cross-functional initiatives spanning fundraising, student programs, events, and communications that fuel opportunities for the students we serve. We’re seeking someone who thrives on organization, collaboration, and results. You’ll be the connector across departments, ensuring every project runs smoothly, aligns with our strategic goals, and delivers meaningful impact. - Manage implementation and reporting for cross departmental initiatives
- Collaborate with the team to manage social media, website updates and marketing materials for events and programs
- Track event expenses and support the development of recap reports and impact metrics
- Ensure consistent communication, training and engagement opportunities
- Collaborate and support strategic planning meetings, huddles, and board strategy sessions
- Develop and track timelines and deadlines for the Foundation’s grant applications
- Serve as a lead supporting platform management programs utilized by the Foundation
The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management, communications, public administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 3 years of experience in project management, event planning, or strategic program implementation
- Experience in education, philanthropy, or public sector initiatives is strongly preferred
- Strong communication, writing and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage complex timelines
- Proficient using CRM platforms, marketing tools and collaboration software
