Compensation Range: $42 – 47 per hourWe are looking for a Color Designer for our client. This position is a detail-oriented individual with a design background that has good creative color application and documentation experience within Adobe Creative Suite. This person will be an integral member of the Design team and will extend the 5.11 color palette across multiple product types. The primary responsibilities of the position will be to work with the Director of Design, Design team and Product Development team to successfully apply foundational and seasonal color to apparel, gear, and footwear. He/She will need to have the patience and detailed mindset needed to properly design within all requirements in a team environment.Responsibilities:
- Reports to Director of Design assuring Product Language, Branding and Functional Innovations are met.
- Execute complete, production ready color-direction, calling out individual components accurately.
- Understand color achievability in different materials, constructions, and blends.
- Keeps internal team updated on the status throughout the development process.
- Be able to proficiently keep track of project timelines.
- Understanding of broader color trends across industries.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a product design applying color.
- Familiarity and competence of AI tools to aid in the color iteration process.
- Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong team oriented individual with the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-driven environment with changing priorities.
