In this role, you will be responsible for designing in both Solidworks and AutoCAD. You will work closely with a team of technical engineers and inside sales representatives to create innovative designs and solutions.Responsibilities
- Design using Solidworks and AutoCAD.
- Estimate and quote technical projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to understand customer manufacturing and production processes.
- Work on various projects with a team of seven designers and engineers.
Essential Skills
- 1 year of experience designing in Solidworks.
- 1 year of engineering or technical experience understanding customer manufacturing and production processes.
- Good work history with at least 3+ years at a company.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of the motion industry.
- Previous experience in manufacturing sales.
- Technical degree.
Work EnvironmentThe working environment consists of a group of technical engineers and an inside sales team. The team is looking for someone with a strong technical design engineering background to bridge the gap between the groups. You will be working under the direction of the VP and collaborating closely with a team of seven designers and engineers. This position ideally suits someone from Rhinelander or someone looking to relocate to the community long-term.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 – $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
