Location: Duluth, MNThe Ideal Candidate for this position shall have:
BS in Electrical Engineering.
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Understanding of programmable logic controllers, electrical systems, and electrical design.
Strong Interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills along with a willingness to go the extra mile to provide and manage project information.ResponsibilitiesWork with design team to create electrical design packages for customers in the industrial sector (Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy, etc.).
Complete calculations and analyses of electrical systems.
Work with internal technicians and design personnel with the building and testing of electrical equipment in house.
FAT testing with technicians and customers
Troubleshoot and upgrade control systems.
Traveling to customer sites to provide field verifications and commission equipment.
Preparing written reports and project documents.
Make considerations when designing and implementing control and power systems related to the following: economy, safety, reliability, quality, sustainability, maintainability, and expansion related to customer needs.
Identify areas of improvement and add to the team environment.
Work will include 20% travel throughout the US on average for commissioning and field verification activities.
