SSVEC is dedicated to community growth, quality of life and a positive vision for the future.SSVEC is looking for a full-time student to assist our Engineering Services Department in Willcox, AZ.As we are nearing the end of yet another school year, it’s time to start thinking about how you will spend your summer! Do you want to build your resume, develop skills, and familiarize yourself with SSVEC’s mission of providing safe and reliable power? We are looking for a full-time student in high school or college. As a Summer Intern, you will gain hands-on experience, assisting our engineering services team with their day-to-day responsibilities. Hours are flexible, but interns generally work no more than 19 hours per week during our normal business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday – Friday. No evening or weekend work is available.

- Support the Right of Way (ROW) department in records management.
- Perform data entry and provide intradepartmental support as needed.
- Assist with general administrative tasks, including filing, document purging and retention, photocopying, and mail distribution.
Qualifications:
- Possess user-level proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
- Must have 9th grade or equivalent level of concurrent education.
- Enrolled in high school or college full-time.
