Job description: Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning process for mechanical systems. The Commissioning Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution and handover of projects, utilizing their expertise in mechanical systems and commissioning process management. This is a freelance role with an all in day rate and no rotation.Responsibilities
- Oversee the commissioning process for mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Develop and implement commissioning plans for projects, including L1 and L5 testing procedures
- Coordinate with project teams to integrate commissioning activities into the overall project schedule
- Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of mechanical systems
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of mechanical systems to identify and resolve any deficiencies
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the commissioning process
- Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation for handover to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Proven experience in commissioning process management, specifically with mechanical systems
- Strong knowledge of L1 and L5 testing procedures and protocols
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to mechanical systems commissioning
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must have an EU passport or right to work in Milan.
Day-to-day
- Collaborating with project teams to plan and execute commissioning activities
- Conducting and overseeing L1 and L5 testing procedures for mechanical systems
- Communicating and coordinating with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery and installation of mechanical systems
- Analyzing test results and identifying any deficiencies in mechanical systems
- Preparing comprehensive commissioning reports and documentation for project handover
