Job description: Job Category: FacilitiesDegree Level: High School /GED (Secondary)Job Description:The Facilities Supervisors report directly to the Facilities Manager and are responsible for the overall management of the Facilities Operations. This includes the supervision and management of the facilities technicians, oversight of plant operations, maintaining site regulatory compliance, and being cost effective while maintaining the highest levels of safety and professionalism. Systems include but are not limited to plant HVAC, UPW, WWT, FLS, HGMS, Utilities Distribution and General Building Maintenance. As with all positions, other duties not specifically noted in this job description will apply, either directly related to changing business conditions and or management discretion.Responsibilities:Responsibilities:
- Maintain and cultivate On Semiconductor Safety Culture by participating in the Safety Champion Program.
- Develop personnel through mentoring, training, feedback, and performance management techniques to improve the overall performance, efficiency and morale of the group.
- Understand the goals and vision of the organization, and demonstrate commitment to the goals and objectives in terms of individual and team performance.
- Monitor performance of facilities systems along with policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA, DEQ, State and local regulations.
- Evaluate performance metrics and develop-deliver presentations that reflect trends and data necessary to sustain the highest degree of performance efficiencies.
- Drive continuous improvement across the department through 5S+, CMMS, Parts Management, Plant Metrics, Corrective Action and Defect Event Tracking, and Corrective Action Management System.
- Plan, develop and prioritize preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, projects and work orders according to factory-site goals and priorities using an advanced CMMS system
- Maintaining vendor relationships, obtaining and reviewing price quotes for the procurement of parts, services and labor for projects. Tracking of vendor invoice processing and accuracy of cost center coding.
Qualifications:Requirements:
- Strong Safety experience in an Industrial Facilities 24/7-365 Operation
- 5-7 years of facilities industry experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Develop, execute, and implement plans and reports effectively to varying levels of site management with internal and external customers
- Ability to build and sustain positive and collaborative working relationships with a wide range of peers, customers and constituents
- Shutdown Planning and Equipment/System Commissioning experience highly preferred
- Ability to respond to On Call situations, work designated Shutdown Schedules and varied shift support as business conditions require (includes but is not limited to nationally recognized holidays)
- Solid planning, tracking, organizational and project management skills.
- Organize time and plan work to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate and manage multiple priorities simultaneously while tending to detail.
- Prioritize and organize services and responses to maintain schedules, budgets, and operational readiness.
- Ability to work under pressure with ease and composure while:
- Logically understanding problems, using Root Cause Analysis (PFMEA, 7 Step or similar), and formulating effective solutions
- Making timely decisions, retaining information, and paying attention to detail.
- Translating priorities into effective field decisions.
