The qualified applicant must be a self-motivated team player who is eager to help grow Holtec’s business footprint around the globe. The individual must be able to understand and interpret technical requirements, provide technical information verbally and in written form, and develop relationships with potential clients within the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Business Development team by conveying technical and commercial information to potential clients, both verbally and in writing.
- Lead the entire proposal development lifecycle, including both technical and commercial content.
- Analyze RFPs to interpret client needs, assess technical requirements, and propose tailored solutions and win themes.
- Create structured outlines to ensure proposals are compliant and responsive.
- Coordinate internal assignments and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop proposal sections.
- Write and edit high-quality technical proposals that align with customer needs and expectations.
- Develop commercial proposals and spreadsheets to capture commercial and pricing information.
- Manage the post-proposal process by addressing clients’ needs through contract execution.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective clients in the energy industry.
- Continuously update knowledge of company products and industry trends through training and self-study.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- 0–7 years of relevant experience in business development or engineering.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to clearly convey complex technical and commercial concepts.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
- Skilled in technical writing and document development.
- Proactive and accountable team player with a high standard for quality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
- Willingness to travel (approximately 10%) for client meetings and industry events.
- Eligible for unescorted access to nuclear power plants.
- Experience in the nuclear or broader energy industry is a plus.
