- The Administrative Resident is responsible for the completion of projects as assigned by the Chief of Staff, and the President.
- The position can be assigned Innovation, Financial, Administrative, Human Resources, Performance Improvement, Quality Improvement, Safety, Operations, or Service Excellence related projects. Administrative Residents fulfill support roles through which they gain exposure to a variety of departments.
- Project work can include a lead, co-lead, facilitator, or support role depending on the scope and purpose of the project. Residents are typically assigned to multiple projects, in a variety of roles, in various hospital or health system departments or functional areas.

- A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required.
- A Masters of Healthcare Administration or related degree (completed or in progress) is required.
