This position further ensures the safe operation of company assets, the work environment, and is a key component of field operations support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

o Internal corrosion control regulations.o Integrity management regulations.o Internal corrosion monitoring and mitigation procedures and processeso Assessment of pipeline defects.o Technical support, training and qualification/evaluation of corrosion technicians.o Design of internal corrosion control systems.o Working knowledge of internal corrosion control databases and field data collection devices.o Internal corrosion and pipeline data management and integration.o Specifications for contract internal +corrosion control services.o SOP and Engineering Standards related to internal corrosion control practices.

o Provide technical support related to internal corrosion monitoring and mitigation with in-depth knowledge in the use of internal corrosion inhibitors and biocides, internal corrosion coupons, internal corrosion sampling, and internal corrosion data analysis.o Provide technical support related to identification of internal corrosion constituents including but not limited to Hydrogen Sulfide (H2S), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Oxygen (O2), Microbiologically Induced Corrosion (MIC)o Provide technical support related to cleaning pigging programs, pigging frequency, and pig types used.
